Ten other centres did not open last year but will open this year: the Open Architecture Centre - College of Architects of Catalonia KBr MAPFRE Foundation the Democratic Memorial the MUHBA Casa Padellàs the MUHBA Fabra i Coats the MUHBA Sant Honorat the MUHBA Via Sepulcral the Badalona Museum - Quint Licini Garden the Egyptian Museum of Barcelona and the Palau Mercader Museum.
Seven spaces will be open for the first time on this Night: the former headquarters of Editorial Gustavo Gili La Modelo - Espacio de Memoria the Mirador Torre Glòries the Moco Museum the MUHBA Bon Pastor the MUHBA Santa Caterina and the Barcelona Archaeology Service - Plaça del Diamant Air Raid Shelter. Barcelona-born Martí Melcion is the creator of the image of the Night of the Museums 2023.

All with free admission, although in certain cases, either for reasons of capacity or for the correct development of the activity, prior registration will be required. This means that there will be a choice of 121 exhibitions, both temporary and permanent, and more than 80 activities.
Up to 90 museum facilities and spaces from 8 municipalities in the metropolitan area -Barcelona, Badalona, Cornellà de Llobregat, Esplugues de Llobregat, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Sant Adrià de Besòs, Sant Joan Despí and Santa Coloma de Gramenet- will take part in the programme, a figure that represents a new high, as until now the edition with the highest participation had been that of 2017, with 87 centres. A new edition of the la Night of the Museums will take place on Saturday 13 May.
